Playsee Rules

Playsee exists for people to create and share their own video content, and to discover the world with the Playsee community. As a Playsee user, you have the freedom to share your creativity and experience with other Playsee users, meaning we are trusting you to be responsible with your content.

Building and maintaining a healthy and vibrant platform for Playsee users to enjoy is challenging, and while we have an open community here at Playsee, a few rules are necessary to keep Playsee users safe and comfortable. These Rules are created so that we can protect this incredible community together, and by using Playsee, you agree to abide by these Rules and our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and its relevant rules and other terms and conditions, which may be updated from time to time by Playsee. We know first-hand the time and energy that goes into creating exciting content, so if you know your content is inappropriate or breaks Playsee rules, don't put it up!

DON’TS OVERSTEP THESE BOUNDARIES

The Basics

In order to provide the Playsee service and to protect the Playsee community, there are certain limits on the behavior of Playsee users and the content published with Playsee. We believe these boundaries make Playsee a better experience for everyone, and we're committed to upholding them under the Rules. We will do our best to respect the context of each and every Playsee creation, but if it breaks the rules, it will be taken down. Playsee will remove Contents that are inappropriate, e.g. pornography or explicit sexual content, hate speech or graphic violence, incorrect location check-in, copyrighted content, spam, irrelevant Content to this location, poor video quality, unsolicited promotions, political campaigning, advertising, contests, raffles, or solicitations, private information of any third party, or other reasons at the sole discretion of Playsee.

Privacy

Please respect the privacy of others. Don't publish or post another person's personal or confidential information. Examples of this include credit card numbers, social security or other national identification numbers, private addresses and locations, non-public phone numbers and emails, videos and images, digital identities, including passwords, Content that contains medical/psychological, biometric, or genetic details of others, or other information that may be used to personally identify another individual.

Impersonation

Don't impersonate or portray your account with the intent to or in a manner that misleads, confuses or deceives others. Commentary, parody or ridicule is fine so long as that intent is absolutely clear to the others. Please remember, Playsee's core value is to share with authenticity. Posting Content that assumes the persona of, speaks for another person or entity, or assumes to be or speaks for another person or entity to which you are not authorized to do so, is prohibited.

Harassment

Playsee does not tolerate any types of harassment. We reserve the right to take down hate speech. This includes bullying, blackmailing, insulting responses, hateful content, posting explicit or suggestive content without the subject's consent, and malicious comments on race, sex, sexual orientation, ethnicity, nationality, and religion. Our harassment policy applies to both Playsee Personal and Playsee Business account holders because we want to maintain a safe environment and prevent unwanted or malicious contact.

Threats

Creating a safe environment is Playsee's top priority. We take this seriously and we reserve the right to permanently ban Playsee users who threaten violence, harassment or other similar acts, or express the intent to stalk or incite others to harmful action. We remove Content, freeze accounts, and work with law enforcement when we believe, at our own discretion, there is a genuine risk of physical harm or direct threats to public safety.

Fraud and Deception

Any content that misleads or deceives others for financial or personal gain will be taken down. You should not solicit or induce others to enter into transactions or establish business relations with you.

Copyright and Trademark Infringement

Do not use someone else's copyrighted or trademarked content unless you have been expressly authorized. This means you need to avoid using content (music, videos, programs, etc.) and rights (logos, names, etc.) that you do not own or did not create, which bears such a close resemblance to the content or rights of others that you are likely to mislead or confuse fellow Playsee users and visitors to Playsee. Respecting other people’s copyrights, trademarks, and other legal rights is our principle and we will strictly implement our policy with regard to the intellectual property rights to the fullest. Playsee encourages originality and believes that helping people and organizations promote and protect their intellectual property rights is an essential way to inspire creativity. We remove Content that violates someone else’s intellectual property rights, including copyright and trademark. Our exact policy in response to copyright and trademark infringement is detailed in the Terms of Service.

Sexual Content

On Playsee, we have zero tolerance for pornography, sexual violence, sexual assault, sexual exploitation, prostitution, escort services, sexual massages, filmed sexual activity or any explicit sexual content. If the sexual content exploits or involves minors in any way, we will remove such Content and report it to law enforcement immediately.

Violent or Graphic Content

Don't post gratuitously violent or graphic content, such as child or animal abuse, or bodily harm. If your Content mentions the making or use of explosives/weapons, or displays intent to commit violence against a specific or an identifiable target, we reserve the right to remove Content, deactivate your accounts, and work with law enforcement if we believe there is a genuine risk of physical harm or direct threats to public safety.

Illegal Content or Information

Playsee does not permit content that is illegal or in furtherance of illegal activities or services, for example, if content explains how to commit tax fraud, or if it promotes the sale of firearms, prescription drugs or sexual services.

USER AND TECHNICAL ABUSE

User abuse or technical abuse is not tolerated and may be ground to permanently ban of a Playsee user. Playsee reserves the right to determine the counter measures and extent with regard to any user abuse or technical abuse.

No Cheating

You should not cheat on earning Playsee Coins by altering/falsifying GPS on devices. Playsee Platform and Playsee Coins lose their meanings if you use modified or unofficial software, earn Playsee Coins with multiple accounts (one account per user please); delete videos upon earning Playsee Coins; sharing accounts; win trading; using tools or techniques to alter or falsify your location; or selling or trading accounts. Be an explorer, not a cheater!

Spam

Don't spam anyone.

Phishing and Malware

Don't use tags, links or titles to generate traffic that lead to malicious content intended to damage or compromise another user's device. If you find any signs of phishing, malicious attempts to gain access to your account or record personal information, malware, ransomware or other online threats, please report to us immediately.

Registration and Mass Account Creation

Don't register accounts for disruptive or abusive purposes, or mass register accounts systematically or through programs. Mass account creation may result in suspension of all related accounts.

Purchasing Accounts

Playsee accounts may not be purchased, sold or transferred, and such actions may result in the suspension of the account at Playsee's sole discretion.

Profile Squatting Policy

Playsee account names are intended for immediate and active use. Account name squatting is not permitted and accounts inactive for more than 6 months may be reclaimed without notice. Playsee also prohibits any attempts to sell, buy, or solicit other forms of payment in exchange for account names and may result in permanent account suspension.

OTHERS

The information and material you provide (including but not limited to any content and assets provided by you), as well as your use of the Playsee services, shall be free from the following circumstances. If Playsee finds you engaging in the following activities, Playsee reserves the right to suspend, deactivate or take other measures against your Playsee account, and may report to enforcement authorities if necessary:

• containing fraudulent information or making fraudulent offers or involving the sale or attempted sale of any materials whose sales and/or marketing is prohibited by applicable law, or otherwise promote other activities;
• infringing or otherwise encouraging the infringement or violation of any third party's copyright, patent, trademarks, trade secrets or other proprietary rights, privacy or other legitimate rights;
• violating any applicable laws, statutes or regulations, including without limitation those governing import/export control, unfair competition, foreign exchange control, anti-discrimination or false advertising;
• providing or promoting any information, content or material that is obscene;
• promoting discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age;
• containing information that is defamatory, libelous, unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing;
• involving attempts to copy, reproduce, exploit or expropriate Playsee’s various proprietary directories, databases, listings or information;
• involving any scheme to undermine the integrity of the computer systems or networks used by Playsee and/or any user of the Playsee services, or attempting to gain unauthorized access to such computer systems or networks;
• involving any computer viruses or other destructive devices and codes that have the effect of damaging, interfering with, intercepting or expropriating any software or hardware system, data or personal data;
• containing any material that constitutes unauthorized advertising or harassment including but not limited to spamming, invading anyone’s privacy or encouraging conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any law or regulation;
• linking directly or indirectly to, or including, descriptions of goods or services or other materials that are prohibited under any laws and regulations or the applicable Playsee terms or other applicable agreements with Playsee;
• being part of a scheme to defraud other users of the Playsee services or for any other unlawful purpose; and/or
• directly or indirectly violating any applicable law.

AMENDMENTS TO THE RULES

Playsee reserves the right to update or modify these Rules from time to time by posting the changes to this site. Your continued use of Playsee or the Service after any changes to this policy will signify your acceptance of such changes.
